This page explains how payment works when you shop at Winterose.
Accepted payment methods
We accept payment by card through Stripe, a secure, PCI-DSS certified payment processor:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
- Apple Pay and Google Pay, when available on your device and browser
We do not accept cash on delivery, checks, bank transfers or cryptocurrency.
Payment security
- Our entire website is served over a secure, encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Card details are entered into Stripe’s secure payment fields and processed directly by Stripe. Winterose never sees or stores your full card number or security code.
- Stripe may use additional verification such as 3D Secure to protect you against fraud.
Currency and prices
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Product prices, the $26 flat shipping rate and any applicable sales tax are shown clearly before you place your order.
Sales tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, where applicable under state and local law. The tax amount, if any, is shown in your order total before you pay.
When you are charged
Your card is charged when you place your order. You will receive an order confirmation email with a summary of the charges. If we cannot fulfill your order, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Declined payments
If your payment is declined, please check that your billing address matches the address on file with your card issuer, or try another card. Your bank can explain the specific reason for a decline.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method. See our Refund & Return Policy for timing and conditions.
